WALK BITCH!

I've already discussed one of those honored on this year's Out 100 (Darryl Stephens), but another honoree that I also think deserves some mention is the grandest diva from America's Next Top Model, the one and only Ms. J. Alexander. Ms. J has been serving from the very beginning of ANTM. Few of the girls would know how to work in heels if it wasn't for him. And let's be honest, he definitely brings personality to the show. Always funny, always honest, always right.

Do I think he is deserving of this honor - yes I do. Do I think he should be held as a role model for black gay men - hell yes. He is comforable in his skin, not ashamed of who is is or where he comes from. He is successful at what he does (even if that is just walking). I don't buy into the belief that effiminate men are any less than any others. We need to get beyond that.
