Just finished celebrating with the Men of Libra. Every year in October; Lamar, Rod, Kevin and Corey through a weekend long celebration in honor of their birthdays and once again - it was on. I met a lot of interesting and nice people, got my dance on, got my drink on, and got my volleyball on.People are always complaining - there's no black people in Phoenix, there's never anything to do in Phoenix, blah, blah, blah. This weekend showed me that if you want something to do, then you can create something to do. Also, it showed me there are a helluva a lot of kool black folks around this town you can kick it with.
Kudos to to the Men of Libra for doing their thang.
Keep it up. I'm already looking forward to next year.
