Ms. Ross Returns to the Valley

In case you haven't heard, the legendary, incomparable and dynamic talent of Diana Ross will once again be in the Valley. She will be performing at the Maricopa County Events Center on November 6. And if you don't have your tickets yet, please go and get them.

Those of you that know me know about my obsession with Ms. Ross. I LOVE HER. She is my all time favorite performer. For me it started during my college days. I hadn't been out of the closet that long when she released Take Me Higher. Now, I was so sick of all the other kids going ga ga over Cher. Now I like Cher, but she didn't do it like that for me. Then Ms. Ross entered my life. She had it all - glamour, hair, attitude - and she had the goods to back it all up. That was all I needed. She became my ICON.

I am now a fanatic. Her autobiography Secrets of a Sparrow was amazing. Her music still elevates me when I need it to. Her ability to balance her career with love of family is inspiring. So take my advice, go and take advantage of this once in a lifetime chance of seeing her onstage. You will not be disappointed. Hopefully I'll see you there.
