This Chirstmas Review

Tonight, my partner and I went to see a movie I've looking forward to for some time now. This Christmas opened up in theaters on the eve of Thanksgiving. The all-star cast is filled with the newest hottie in R&B Chris Brown, the fabulous Loretta Diving, the hardest working woman in showbusiness, Ms. Regina King (I love her), and a couple of stars from Dreamgirls Sharon Leal and Keith Robinson.
The script is a bit predictable, but it is a plot that works. It's a family that is filled with love and simultaneously filled with secrets. There is the usual sister rivalry and triffling in-laws. But you know someone is going to get their come-upings in the end.
Though it may not be that original, I still loved, loved, loved this movie. All actors do an amazing job tapping into their characters. And as far giving you that holiday feel good sensation, this movie delivers. You really do leave the theater wanting to book your flight home for the holiday.
P.S. - Many kudos to Mekhi for producing and starring in this masterpiece.
If you have seen, or are planning on seeing this movie, please give me your feedback. What do you think about the movie?
