The Presidential Race: HIV

As the race for the White House increases momentum, the two leading Democratic candidates, Obama and Clinton, are trying harder and harder to draw a distinction between the two - hard to do when it seems they parallel on so many issues. One issue that hasn't received much attention, but is on the forefront for many concerned people is their stance on HIV. On October 16, Obama was the first to launch his plan for how he would address this issue when he is in the White House. Needless to say, exactly ten days later, Hillary announced her "bold approach to stopping HIV/AIDS."
Both have plans that are very progressive and would be a godsend following an administration that has taken the HIV fight back ten years. Thank you Obama for being the first to put this on the agenda.
