A few of my friends and I decided to go and hang out at a local coffee shop last Friday evening. It was just a way wind down from the week and officially jump off the weekend. It was my first visit to the Hob Knob and none of us knew that there was live entertainment lined up for the evening. Apparently Keven Peart (of the band Home Jones) has a gig in this spot every other Friday and we were lucky enough to catch him. Although we were only planning to enjoy a drink and a snack and then head our separate ways, we ended up spending the entire evening there - specifically for the phenomenal music we were enjoying. Jeff Holden (also of Home Jones) was also in the house enjoying Keven. When Keven invited Jeff to the microphone I was even more surprised. Jeff's voice is amazing. I had a chance to chat with him while Keven was performing. Not only is he the lead vocalist for Home Jones, he is also working on his own solo project.
