Mike's reponse was, "I don't know where that came from. Nothing towards the community -- none of that. I might've just said it out of anger; it ain't nothing
personally against the community."
personally against the community."
I have mixed emotions about this apology. It does seem unsympathetic in print. But you can't guage people's true reactions from reading there words. Maybe Clay went right into another question. Maybe the responses have been edited. I don't know. I know Mike Epps is hilarious and I want to continue to support him but I can't support a homophobe. So for now he will stay on my good side but I will be watching him with a raised eyebrow.

I have never thought Mike Epps funny as he is a truly bad stereotype. I've long been turned off by the post-NWA/early-'90s MJBlige roguishness that has permeated commercial black entertainment for the last decade.Epps is a product of a lot of this "Keepin' it real" loudness. His apology seemed....apathetic.
